According to Webopedia, it is defined as, â€Å"wearable technology (also called wearable gadgets) is a category of technology devices that can be worn by a consumer and often include tracking information related to health and fitness. Other wearable tech gadgets include devices that have small motion sensors to take photos and sync with your mobile devices.† This technology is especially useful in scenarios where a complex computational support is needed to deal with the existing problem. When a person is wearing a wearable computer, there is a constant interaction between the device and the user. Not only does the device have to ability to multi-task, but also can be incorporated into the physical body of the user to act as prostheses, becoming an extension of the body and/or user s mind. Wearable computer usually requires some form of direct detection with the user s skin, hands, voice, eyes, arms, movement, biometrics, attention, or even his surrounding physical environment to function.
